Course Maps

Alex Fraser Research Forest on Fox Mountain

795 Campbell Road, Williams Lake

Registration: 12:15-12:50 pm
Mass Start at 1:00 pm

This will be a "Score" type event where you visit as many controls (checkpoints) as you can within a 90 minute time limit. For those getting all controls, placing is determined by the fastest time. Enter as an Individual, Team or Family Team(s). Note that a Team must remain together for the entire event while on the course. If some members of your Team or Family like to go faster, we recommend splitting up and entering as separate teams or even solo (NOTE: Children must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian).

DIRECTIONS: From Williams Lake, drive North on Highway 97, then turn right on to Jacobson Road, just after passing through Pine Valley (and before the airport turn off). At the top of the hill on Jacobson, turn left on to Campbell Road. Watch for the orange and white flags.

NEW Pre-register at and let us know you if you might attend. This is completely optional but will help to give us an idea how many maps to print out. You will still register by filling out a form at the event as usual.

Maps will be provided. A compass is recommended, no other special equipment is required. Hiking boots or running shoes and hiking/running attire are suitable. We recommend you bring a water bottle especially if the weather is warm. Printed instructions and an instructor will be available to assist you before you start a course. Walk or run. You may orienteer as an individual, with a partner, or go as a group/family.

Fees: Adult $10, Under 20 yrs $5, Family maximum $20
Please note: A Club Membership* and a signed waiver is required for all events and will be available at registration.

2024 Annual Club Memberships

*Included is Membership in Orienteering British Columbia and in Orienteering Canada which we require as they provide sport insurance coverage for participants, volunteers and landowners.
