150 Mile House Trails network
Registration: 12:30-1:00 pm
Start time: Open start times - 12:45 -1:30 pm
Directions: From Williams Lake, drive to 150 Mile House and turn LEFT on to Pigeon Road (at 150 Mile Center)
-Drive 2.1 km east on Pigeon Road then turn LEFT on to Huston Road
-Park along Huston Road. Registration is just 100 m up Huston.

This is a "point to point" timed event where you go to the controls in the specified order. Electronic punching (SportIdent) will be used.
You will have Four courses of increasing length and degree of difficulty to choose from. There is a 2 hour time limit to complete a Course
Course 1 -Novice (1.9 km)
Course 2 -Advanced novice (2.3 km)
Course 3 -Intermediate (3.3 km)
Course 4 -Intermediate/advanced (4.2 km)
If you wish you may do a course with a partner or as a family group. However, If you have been to some events, and would like to test your skills or are a bit competitive, we encourage you to try a course on your own. You may also 'shadow' a younger orienteer.
Maps will be provided. A compass is recommended, no other special equipment is required. Hiking boots or running shoes and hiking/running attire are suitable. We recommend you bring a water bottle especially if the weather is warm. Printed instructions and an instructor will be available to assist you before you start a course. Walk or run and you may orienteer as an individual, with a partner, or go as a group or family.

Members: Adult $10, Under 20 yrs $5, Family maximum $25
Non-Members: Adult $15, Under 20yrs $5, Family Maximum $30
