Bond Lake Road
Location (NEW): On Bond Lake Road Drive 1 km up the Road (Bond Lake Road starts across from Mountview School)
Registration: 12:30-1:00 pm
Start: Staggered starts - anytime up to 1:30pm
Directions: From Williams Lake, start out on Highway 20, then turn left onto Dog Creek Road and drive to Mountview School. Turn RIGHT on to Bond Lake Road and park along the right shoulder about 1 kilometer up the Road. Watch for the orange and white flags

This is a "point to point" timed event where you go to the controls in the specified order. You will have three courses of increasing length and degree of difficulty to choose from. (Novice, Intermediate and Intermediate-long). If you are new to orienteering, you may enter the Novice course, then do the intermediate course if time allows.
You are most welcome to enter with a partner or as a family group. However, If you have been to some events, and would like to test your skills or are a bit competitive, we encourage you to try a course on your own, or 'shadow' a younger orienteer.
Maps will be provided. A compass is recommended, no other special equipment is required. Hiking boots or running shoes and hiking/running attire are suitable. We recommend you bring a water bottle especially if the weather is warm. Printed instructions and an instructor will be available to assist you before you start a course. Walk or run and you may orienteer as an individual, with a partner, or go as a group or family.
Fees: Adult $10, Under 20 yrs $5, Family maximum $20
Please note: A Club Membership* and a signed waiver is required for all events and will be available at registration.
Entry to your first event is FREE when you purchase a 2024 Membership (You do not have to pay for a membership AND an entry fee)

*Included is Membership in Orienteering British Columbia and in Orienteering Canada which we require as they provide sport insurance coverage for participants, volunteers and landowners.
