Registration opens 12:00 Noon. You may register and start anytime 12:00-1:00 pm
Directions
From 150 Mile House, drive south on Highway 97 for 4.5 km
and turn left onto the UBC Research Forest Road (Directly opposite Mission
Road turnoff). Watch for the Orange and White orienteering flags.
Maps will be provided. A compass is recommended, no other
special equipment is required. Hiking boots or running shoes and
hiking/running attire are suitable. We recommend you bring a water
bottle especially if the weather is warm. Printed instructions and an
instructor will be available to assist you before you start a course.
Walk or run. You may orienteer as an individual, with a
partner, or go as a group or family. This event is score Orienteering
where you can visit a few or as many checkpoints as you wish (it's up to
you) within the time limit of 2 hours.
Please note: A Club Membership* is required for this event and will be available at registration.
Entry to the event is FREE with your purchase of a new Club Membership. (good through 2023)
Membership Fees
Individual $10.00
Juniors <21 years $5.00
Family maximum $25.00
*Included is Membership in Orienteering British Columbia and in
Orienteering Canada which we require as they provide sport insurance
coverage for participants, volunteers and landowners.
